Definition of problem :
  As part of its translation activities, AC&T – EUROBREVET requires the design of an in-house management tool for handling the company's entire production process.
Proposed solution :
 

To offer a tailored business solution adapted to its customer's actual requirements, MetaCorp proposed developing an intranet based on a 3-tier architecture (client – database - server).

The main functionalities of the tool were to be :

  1. Customer portfolio management.
  2. Supplier account management.
  3. Handling production processes: drawing up estimates, completing orders, drawing up invoices, tracking customer and supplier payments.
  4. Customer statistics: volume of business per customer, drawing up customer statements.
  5. General accounting statistics: drawing up statements, tracking the overall volume of business.

In order to ensure a high level of availability for the application, MetaCorp had the intranet hosted by a professional hoster (CTN1).

Finally, to cope with any loss of data, MetaCorp provides external server backup.
